Taylor Momsen was born in St. Louis, Missouri. Her parents, Mick and Colette, enroll in a professional agency, where she began to make themselves known. She has a younger sister, Sloane is also an actress. Taylor Momsen has taken its first steps in front of a camera at the age of 3 years, turning in a commercial for Shake ‘N’ Bake. In 1999, she landed a small role in Season 2 of the series Early Edition.

In 2000, she made her film debut in giving the reply to Jim Carrey in the movie The Grinch. She plays the little Cindy Lou, who will figure out the Grinch in his lair. It connects the small roles in films for teens first in Hansel and Gretel and then in Spy Kids 2: Spy Kids in 2003. She missed the audition for Hannah Montana.
