He is currently detained at the Louisiana State Penitentiary for carrying firearms and possession of narcotics. It is also subject to several complaints of murder cases (including the murder of rapper Nu$$ie, also a native ofBaton Rouge), Lil ‘Boosie risk at this time the death penalty.
Hatch grew up in poor neighborhoods of Baton Rouge, his father was absent from his youth. He played basketball for his high school years but was fired for drug possession, he decided to become a rapper. He has worked with rapper C-Loc and his Concentration Camp group and made his debut on the fifth album of C-Loc, It’s a Gamble, released in 2000 under the pseudonym Boosie.
Soon after, Hatch joined the label that is getting stronger Trill Entertainment then headed by Pimp C (RIP). The label then released his debut album For My Thugs under his new alias Lil ‘Boosie in 2003. Subsequently, Boosie teamed with rapper Webbie from the same label on their collaborative album called Ghetto Stories and Gangsta Musik.
