Randall Mario Poffo (born November 15, 1952 and died May 20, 2011) better known by his ring name “Macho Man” Randy Savage, is an American professional wrestler. For much of his time in the WWF, it is managed by his wife Miss Elizabeth, whom he married Dec. 30, 1984. On 20 May 2011,Randy Savage died following a heart attack after a car accident.

Savage was born in Columbus, Ohio, Angelo Poffo, an Italian-American Catholic and Judy, a Jewish American. He continued his studies at the Downers Grove North High School near Chicago, Illinois, where he graduated in 1971. He later became player at the minor league baseball in the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds and Chicago White Sox.
His father, Angelo Poffo, was also a wrestler in the 1950s and 60s. The brother of Randy Savage, Lanny Poffo, had a modest career as a wrestler, under the names “Leaping Lanny Poffo” and “The Genius”.
Randy Savage was shot in the early 1970s to wrestling. His first character was synonymous with Spider-Man. It is interesting to note that later appeared in the movie Spider Man as a wrestler in 2002. He made his debut against Paul Christy.
His father founded the International Championship Wrestling (ICW). The ICW will ultimately be of short duration and Randy and Lanny joined Memphis and Continental Wrestling Association Jerry Lawler (their old rival). Savage feuded with Lawler for the AWA Southern Heavyweight Championship as he and Lanny fought The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express with a game famous June 25, 1984 inMemphis, where Savage (kayfabe) injured Ricky Morton in the piledriver on a table, which gave victory to the Express by DQ.
Later in 1984, Savage turned face and allied with Lawler against the First Family of Jimmy Hart, only to turn heel Lawler cons early 1985 for the title, which ended with Lawler Savage flying in a loser-leaves-town match on June 8 Nashville, Tennessee.

In June 1985, Savage signed with World Wrestling Federation of Vince McMahon. One of the first appearances of Savage was at Tuesday Night Titans, where a large number of managers in the WWF have offered their services to Savage (including Bobby Heenan, Jimmy Hart, Freddie Blassie and). Savage rejected all these offers, taking the debutante Miss Elizabeth as manager. Junkyard Dog beat him by count-out finish.
He beat Tito Santana to win the WWF Intercontinental Championship at Boston Garden in February 1986 using an iron object illegal . Savage fought inNorth America against Steamboat at WrestleMania III at the Pontiac Silverdome. At Saturday Night’s Main Event in October 1987 he solidified his status as a crowd favorite whenRandy Savage Elizabeth saved from a beating men of Jimmy Hart, The Honky Tonk Man and the Hart Foundation.
Hogan and Savage reign together on the WWF for the sixteen months. Savage and Elizabeth divorced September 18, 1992. Savage and Hogan have a strained relationship ever since.
