In a nutshell

Another Big Brother contestant, GREAT! You'll remember Chantelle as the first NONE CELEBRITY in CELEBRITY BIG BROTHER. Do you see what they did there?? She wasn't a celebrity (and still isn't, we'd happily argue) but they put her into a house WITH celebrities. Anyway, that's enough of the capital letters...
Chantelle joined the house on January 4th 2006 and was promptly given the task to convince the other housemates that she was a bona fide celebrity ? part of the girl group (fictional, but what a great name) Kandy Floss.
One of the housemates was Samuel Preston (that's Preston to you and me) of moderately-successful group The Ordinary Boys and the pair started up one of those little flirty love relationships which gets everybody interested for a couple of weeks until the show finishes and we realise we didn't care to begin with.
However, Preston dumped his then girlfriend to be with Chantelle and the pair married in August of the same year. They were very happy ever after etc until ? guess what ? they announced their divorce just 10 months later.
Now, you'd expect that to be the end of our delightful tale. But no, Chantelle kept going and tried to keep herself in the spotlight. She's appeared on The Weakest Link and, erm, 8 Out Of 10 Cats and... other stuff like that.
