Chase Crawford Biography

In a nutshell

Born and raised in Texas, Chase (we love the name, now he's literally being chased by girls left, right and centre) has a young sister who, strangely, was named Miss Missouri in 2008. Miss Missouri? Yes. If there was a 'Mr Missouri' then surely Chase would have no trouble taking the crown.
Although Chase didn't act from an early age he was interested in media and ended up studying broadcast journalism at University. He couldn't settle and get into the course and so was advised by his mother to have a crack at acting. Luckily, he was pretty decent (and pretty looking) and was instantly signed up by a talent agency.
After various modelling jobs and bit-parts his major break came when he hit our screens as character Nate in the addictive (and hugely glamourous) series Gossip Girl. You can catch it over here on ITV2 and if you haven't seen it yet we would highly recommend it.
It's rumoured that Chase is going to take on the role of Ren McCormack in the forthcoming remake of Footloose. This was reportedly turned down by lad-of-the-moment Zac Efron so we hope it doesn't turn out to be a tragic mess. Let's wait and see.
