In a nutshell

So we all know Victoria Beckham, right? We were there when she tried to launch a 'music career' but was beaten to a proverbial pulp by Kylie's 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head', when she looked so thin it made us feel guilty for eating that stuffed crust pizza and when she thought launching her own range of denim was a good idea.
But never mind, we won't hold any of that against her - and neither should you.
Born in Essex back in 1974, Victoria was apparently embarrassed by her family's wealth and insisted that she was never dropped off outside school in her Dad's Rolls Royce. Whatever next, not wanting a Kit-Kat in her packed lunch?
Victoria enrolled in a theatre school at the age of 17 but her big break didn't really come along until she spotted an advert in a magazine looking for ambitious girls who could sing and dance. We guess she was particularly ambitious. Anyway, the advert was indeed for the Spice Girls (originally called 'Touch'). They were a smash hit around the world, with debut single Wannabe hitting the number one spot.
After a good few years, and many hit singles later, Spice Girls (and V's alter-ego Posh Spice) eventually wound down. But what is one to do with the millions earned and adoring fans everywhere? Well, we've already briefly touched upon the solo career and that didn't exactly go with a bang, so we'll move onto life as an international super-celeb.
Victoria started dating David Beckham in 1997 and the pair announced their engagement in 1998. Everybody swooned. Everybody was a bit jealous. Everybody hoped David would develop into an astonishingly attractive man. Everybody got their hope.
Anyway - the pair married in 1999 and assumed the new, public identity of 'Posh and Becks'. If only we'd thought of it first. They've since had three kids - Brooklyn (oh how everybody first laughed at the name, yet now they love it), Romeo and Cruz (we're still laughing a little at this one).
