Ryan Reynolds Biography

In a nutshell

Before even writing this, we're expecting this Ryan Reynolds biog to be one of the most popular. Why? Because he's a talented, graceful actor who also happens to be extremely hot. What more could you ask for in a leading man?
Yet another Canadian hunk (along the lines of Michael Buble, for example), Ryan started in life as the youngest of four brothers. His acting career didn't start until 1990 when he was cast in a Canadian show called Hillside (think of it as their version of Hollyoaks, with better acting). Another big role was in Van Wilder, a National Lampoon movie.
He's starred in countless other films and TV shows, although not many hugely successful ones as far as we remember; Scrubs, Just Friends and Foolproof to name a few.
Ryan is starting to get a name in superhero movies. He starred as Deadpool in the X Men: Wolverine movie and is currently in talks to take on the role again, this time in a film based solely on the character from Marvel comics. However, in a somewhat shocking revelation (this probably only seems shocking if you're a bit of a comic geek) he's also penned to play Green Lantern, a character from the DC Comics catalogue. Either way, it'll mean Ryan in tight-fitting costumes so we've no reason to complain.
From 2002 Ryan was in a relationship with singer Alanis Morissette and they announced their engagement in 2004. However this was short-lived and in 2007 everything was off.
