In March 2006, Bosh is convened for the program to prepare the U.S. team’s basketball world championship for basketball in 2006. In August 2006, Bosh wasselected among the twelve players to represent Team USA at the World Championships of Basketball in 2006. Among the teammates there including other players drafted the same year as him like Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Kirk Hinrich. The team won the bronze medal, defeating 2004 Olympic champion Argentina.
After the 2006-2007 season, Bosh was recalled to participate with Team USA at the Americas Championship basketball 2007, but still a foot injury caused him to withdraw from the team. Bosh isselected in the starting five of the Eastern Conference for the NBA All-Star Games 2007 and 2008. In the NBA All-Star Games 2007, he played 22 minutes, scoring 11 points and 7 rebounds takes.
