Born in Liverpool, Alex had a normal life as a nail technician (!) but was lucky enough to be involved in a rather bizarre love-swap incident. Let me explain.
She was dating businessman Tony Richardson. At the same time, Jennifer Ellison was dating footballer Steven Gerrard. We don't know when and we don't know how but their girls 'swapped' partners.
Alex married Gerrard in 2007 and the pair have two daughters. Despite being married to a footballer, Alex isn't shy of 'work'.
