Miquita Oliver Biography

In a nutshell

We don't know an awful lot about Miquita, if we're honest. That's not to say we don't like her ? it's more than she makes it hard for people to like her. She scowls a lot, smiles occasionally although they're more like sly smiles ? you know what we mean.
Anyway ? Miquita's mother is Andrea Oliver who most recently starred in the BBC cookery series, 'Neneh and Andi Dish It Up' alongside her good friend and generally cool-from-what-we-remember pop star, Neneh Cherry.
In 2001 Miquita started presenting Channel 4's legendary 'Popworld' show alongside Simon Amstell. Most guests didn't actually really that the interviews and features were constructed to completely make a mockery and, if they did realise, it'd often result in people walking off, looking completely baffled or a combination of both.
When they quit, Miquita went on to become one of the regular presenters of the T4 weekend youth strand on Channel 4.
