Lea Michele whose real name is Lea Michele Sarfati (born August 29, 1986) is an actress, singer and American model best known for his roles in Broadway musicals, especially that of Wendle in The Awakening of Spring, The New Musical (Spring Awakening), and for her role as Rachel Berry Glee in the television series, which aired on FOX.
Lea was born in the Bronx, New York under the name Lea Michele Sarfati. She grew up in Tenafly (New Jersey) and studied at Tenafly High School. She then admitted to the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU, but decided to continue to go on stage. Indeed, it begins in 1995 as a child actor in the musical Les Miserables. What began as a replacement for the character of Cosette launch his career.

It will then appear in several other musicals including Ragtime in 1998, Fiddler on the Roof in 2004 and since the age of 14 years in The Awakening of Spring, The New Musical. It will be nominated for the Drama Desk Award for her role in the latter Wendl Bergman production.
Michele then began to turn on the television series Glee, where she plays the role of Rachel Berry along with Jonathan Groff, his best friend in life, in the role of Jessie St James. She and Cory Monteith, his partner in Glee, were named in the 2009 edition of Entertainment Weekly “Summer Must List” in the “Summer’s Must Songbirds” for their roles in the series.
She was also nominated for Golden Globes and Satellite Awards.Elle is a vegetarian and supports PETA. She sang America the Beautiful at the 45th edition of the Super Bowl XLV opposing team Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers February 6, 2011 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington (Texas).
