In a nutshell

When you think of Jonathan Ross one of the following probably pops into your head: 'OVERPAID!', 'SCANDAL!', 'RUSSELL BRAND!', or, perhaps, 'CAN'T PWONOUCE HIS Rs!'. Whichever it is, we love the man, so stop being so darn mean!
Jonathan started his career in TV as a lowly researcher before cleverly coming up with the idea for his first show, 'The Last Resort'. He even formed his own production company, Channel X, to help make it. He proved an instant success and went on to be involved with numerous other shows including Comic Relief, British Comedy Awards, They Think It's All Over and Saturday Zoo.
Jonathan has always seemed like a good family man to use and, when he decided he needed to devote more time to his wife and kids, sold his share of Channel X for just a quid. He's been married to Jane Goldman since 1998 and they have three children, all with cool names ? Betty Kitten, Harvey Kirby and Honey Kinny.
Ross signed an exclusive contract with the BBC and in 2006 some of the financial details were leaked ? including a bit about his contract being worth somewhere in the region of ?18million. Not bad work if you can get it, although it caused a bit of a fuss with some oldies and ? quite frankly ? jealous newspapers.
Jonathan still pulls in the millions with his Film.. series, Friday Night with Jonathan Ross chatshow and his Saturday morning show on BBC Radio 2 ? so despite the controversy (including the over-rated and 'done to death' trouble with Russell Brand which we can't be bothered to explain here) he still does a great job and has the fans to prove it.
