Taylor’s career began in the mid 60′s, but found his audience in the early 70′s singing soft and tender acoustic songs. Taylor was part of a wave of soft singer-songwriters of that time, which can include Carole King, Joni Mitchell, John Denver, Jackson Browne and others. We can also find Carly Simon in this wave, with whom he later married. He is a talented and award-winning musician including the White House.
