In a nutshell

You might have already seen the profile for Ant, the other half of this now infamous double act. If so, you'll know that the pair rarely (if ever) work apart, and have been together for so long that they've practically followed the same path since they were kids.
Having most recently presented Britain's Got Talent, Dec has presided over some of the biggest shows ever seen on British TV. These have included Saturday Night Takeaway, Pop Idol and, yes, SMTV Live. Who could forget the legendary Pok?mon sketches, the Ant VS Dec skits and an angry Dec screaming at kids for not being able to guess Wonky Donkey? Saturday mornings will never be the same again.
Of course there was also the 'singing' career. We expect you take what we say here with an extra-large pinch of salt because the songs weren't exactly ranking up there with some of the Beatles greatest. But they lasted a couple of albums, anyway.
Dec is currently single, although he was previously in a relationship with actress Clare Buckfield. She later took part in Dancing on Ice, which isn't perhaps the greatest way to console yourself over a break-up, but Dec was in the audience to support her all the way. He must be nice like that.
