In a nutshell

Angelina is the daughter of her father. And her father is Oscar winning actor Jon Voight. However she was brought up by her mother when her parents divorced.
She's one of the most famous actresses of her generation ? partly because of her film roles but more recently because of her personal life. Getting together and having babies with Brad Pitt was never going to lead to the quiet life, was it?
Before Brangelina came along, she was married to Brit actor Jonny Lee Miller whom she met when they worked together on the film Hackers. However, things didn't really work out between the pair and they later divorced, on good terms. Next up was Billie Bob Thornton, a relationship which caught the attention of the media but, again, didn't really last.
Angelina was really catapulted to the masses (ie, young men) in the film adaptation of Tomb Raider. Dressed in the famous outfit complete with big guns and even bigger... stunts, Angelina was a roaring success.
Little did anybody know that Angelina and Brad Pitt were to take their working relationship a little bit further after starring in Mr & Mrs Smith, the successful action/comedy in 2005. At the time, Brad was in a relationship with Jennifer Aniston. Anybody who supports Jen is a member of Team Aniston. When Brad and Angelina started a relationship, the media pounced and blamed her for breaking the couple up. She did have some supporters, though, and they were aptly named Team Jolie.
